Aww! This Woman’s Terrified Of Being Pinged Before Christmas Even Though Her Fav Uppers Are Pingers
December 21, 2021

Across NSW and Victoria, people are staying home to avoid being ‘pinged’ as a COVID close contact. Many are dreading the notification that a restaurant or bar they attended is an exposure site and they are required to isolate over Christmas.

Anna Bronson, 27, is being cautious. “I’ve waited all year for this week of no work and festivities. I’m not risking being holed up at home because I was in a bar and made out with someone that has COVID.”

The office administrator reports being a fan of ‘pingers’ or ecstasy tablets.

“If I get pinged this week there’ll be no pinging Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve might be out too,” said Anna.

She has made plans to limit her partying in the lead up to the holidays. “This week I’m only going to Revolver on Wednesday night between 2am and 4am.”
