“I can’t believe they didn’t invite me,” says Mia Johnson, 27, “I wouldn’t have gone, but still.”
Mia is livid. Her friends from uni arranged a girl’s night out in the city and she wasn’t invited. Not that she would have gone.
One of the friends in question, Fran Pinto said, “We invite her but she never comes. She didn’t come to my birthday or the girls’ spa weekend. She didn’t even reply to our invite to the races. How much longer do we have to keep inviting her? No, seriously, how much longer?”
These days Mia has a busy social life and is not that interested in her old uni friends. “I always say no because I don’t like hanging out with them. They’re boring. But when they don’t invite me, it’s as if they think I’m the boring one.”
When Mia saw on Instagram that there had been an event without her, she was quick to post a comment, “Your loss, bitches. I would have come if you’d invited me.”
Fran added, “Seriously, how much longer do we have to invite her for? A year? Ten? Fifty years?!”
