Australian of the Year, Grace Tame, has faced criticism for not making a big deal of Prime Minister Scott Morrison at The Lodge in Canberra today.
Grace refused to smile at the Prime Minister, to meet his eye and appeared to be uncomfortable in his presence.
Grace has been criticized by Liberal Senator James McGrath, “It’s not right. Sure, Scotty has been a terrible Prime Minister and has done nothing to improve the lives of women or any Australians, but he is a white man. She should have at least smiled or asked if she could get him anything so he could feel comfortable.”
The Prime Minister has been accused of being tone-deaf to the issues of women. He told reporters, “Grace and I had a great chat. How good is Grace? Ha ha ha. That right, Jen?”
